Wenn der Frosch nicht mehr hüpft…
France said Friday that its jobless rate reached 10 percent in January for the first time in five years, dealing a setback to the government’s economic program and a fresh blow to embattled Finance Minister Herve Gaymard.

Marc Touati, chief economist at Natexis Banques Populaires, said that with French economic growth expected to slow this year, the latest figures spelled doom for the government’s pledge to cut joblessness by 10 percent.“If economic growth of 2.3 percent in 2004 has not prevented the jobless rate from rising from 9.8 percent to 10 percent,” Touati said, “how is growth of 1.8 percent in 2005 going to reverse the trend?”
Wie werden sie es nun bloss schaffen, das auf Bush abzuwälzen und Sozialismus, 35-Stunden-Woche wie auch tägliche Streiks als den Erlöser den Menschheit zu präsentieren?
